Bazat pe benzile desenate din 1950 ale publicistului William M. Gaines, aceasta antologie horror spune in fiecare episod povesti despre crime, lacomie, desfranare si supranatural, cu tenta comica, care au de fiecare data un final rasucit si interesant. O papusa infricosatoare - The Crypt Keeper - are grija sa ne introduca episod de episod in cateva dintre cele mai infricosatoare intamplari. Situat undeva intre "Twilight Zone" si filmele horror moderne, acest serial nu este recomandat celor cu inima slaba.
